What to Know Before Using

1.What is the Lightning Network

The Lightning Network is a Layer 2 payment system on Bitcoin — transfer Sats instantly with very low fees, suitable for daily use. However, unlike transfers on the main network (On-chain), Lightning requires "channels" and nodes that manage liquidity.

When you use a wallet in our system, your Sats balance is held in an account managed by the system (similar to a custodial wallet service) — it is not entirely a private key that you hold yourself. However, we have designed it so you can verify your balance through the Transparency Explorer.

2.Understanding the Risks of Digital Currency

The price of Bitcoin is volatile — the value of your saved Sats may increase or decrease according to the market.
Bitcoin/Lightning transactions, once confirmed, cannot be canceled — always double-check the Address/QR code before transferring.
We manage funds according to savings principles (Wadiah) — the principal is safeguarded, but price risk belongs to the member.

3.Islamic Principles (No Interest)

All services of the cooperative operate according to Islamic finance principles (Shariah):

Saving (Wadiah) — safekeeping deposit, principal guaranteed, no interest.
Investment (Mudarabah) — profit sharing based on proportion, not interest.
Partnership (Musharakah) — joint venture, sharing profits and losses according to share proportion.
Loan (Qard Hasan) — borrowing without interest, only actual service fees apply.

4.Beware of Scams

warning We will never ask for your password, Private Key, Seed Phrase, or ask you to transfer money "to unlock/verify your account" via private messages — if someone claims to be staff and asks for these things, it is 100% a scam.

Check the URL carefully: it must be https://ln-btc.com only — beware of fake domains (e.g., ln-btc.net, lnbtc.com with misspellings).
Do not click links from untrustworthy ads/messages and then enter your password.
Strangers offering "free money" or "investment opportunities with abnormally high returns" = scammers.
Our team only contacts you through official channels (email [email protected]).

5.How to Keep Your Account Safe

Use a long password that is not the same as your other websites (at least 8 characters).
Do not share your password or let others log into your account.
Enable two-factor authentication (if available) and regularly check your transaction history.
Do not save all the money you need for short-term expenses — allocate your savings appropriately.

6.Withdrawals

Withdraw Sats via Lightning instantly (if the node has liquidity) or On-chain (network fees apply).
For On-chain withdrawals, you may need to wait for confirmations as is normal for Bitcoin.
Always double-check the destination Address — confirmed transactions cannot be reversed.
